Research Assistantship Positions for FALL 2025-2026

The Civil Engineering Department invites applications for Full Time/Part Time Research Assistant positions. This role involves assisting with course-related activities, including tutorials, laboratory experiments, and field work and supporting administrative work within the department.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidate must be currently registered M.S. or PhD student in the Civil Engineering Department at Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta, North Cyprus.
• A strong command of English is required, both written and spoken.
• Candidates should possess good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting faculty members for the delivery of tutorials and in laboratory sessions.
• Performing administrative duties as required, including organizing departmental-related events and tasks.
• Assisting in other departmental work as required by the department administration.
